We are just under a month from the first IRDC event of the year and the official kick off of the 2018 ICSCC racing season.  With the new year, we have some new programs to make your IRDC membership, the best member experience in motorsports.

The schedule: 4 weekends, 4 championship points races, driving schools and HPDE

We have a busy and exciting year of racing on-tap.  As we’ve posted on our events calendar page, we again have 4 weekends of on-track action but with a couple twists:

1. HPDE: Each weekend, we will have an HPDE component.  On what normally has been Test and Tune Fridays, we are now going to also have an HPDE run group.  This way, we can have people who are interested in racing, be a part of our events, get up close to real race cars and make connections.
2. Driving Schools: Each year, in April, we hold a driving school for up to 25 drivers who want to take their driving to the next level and get into racing.  Every year, it is sold out and a waiting list starts.  So this year, we’re doing two driving schools!  One on April 21st and another during the July 20th!

Rewarding your IRDC loyalty!

Starting this year, IRDC members who enter every IRDC championship race event, will automatically get a $150 credit, for use on a future entry fee for the 2019 season.  It may not be much but just like when you sign up for the Red Robin membership and every 10 entree orders, you get one free – we want to give a small pleasant surprise to IRDC members!

Nothing new to sign up for besides your annual membership and signing up for races!

Rewarding the car counts!

Last but not least, we’re excited to have the Pacific NW Spec Miata Tour joining us for the July race weekend at Pacific Raceways and the September race weekend at the Ridge Motorsports Park.

An incentive that we’ve extended to the PNW Spec Miata tour is that for every 20 race entries of Spec Miatas, we will give them a full race entry to raffle off to their drivers and to be used within 12 months, at a future race event.  The goal here is to encourage folks to come out and help offset the costs.

Once again, it’s about the little things to show that we appreciate everyone who comes out and makes these race weekends possible.  If you are part of a racing group and want to organize to bring consistent and large car counts, this incentive is available to you as well!  Simply organize and let us know.

2017 was a great racing season and 2018 is shaping up to be even better.  The order for weather for the sunny days has been placed and we can’t wait to kick off the year.  We hope everyone’s cars are almost ready for some shake down time and you’ve stocked up on sun screen.  See you all at the track!
