"Okay, so
two outta three ain't bad in my book! The enduro on the 28th started
sunny and warm, but halfway in it started to sprinkle, and later came
down with a vengeance. Nothing like weather induced drama to spark an
event eh?
The race began
with 19 cars, which unfortunately became 16 rather quickly. As most
people know by now due to the speed of reporting on the Conference
forum, the overall winner of this 6 hour event was the #48 BMW, while
second was the #4 GTM from Prototype Development out of California
and the Grassroots team taking third due to an inspired late race
drive by Jeff Van Lierop.
There was a
full contingent of workers for this event, and we even had a waiting
list for the job of pit marshall! Congratulations to all of the teams
who entered this race; it started mellow but ended with a bang."
